Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 2, 2026 · Last updated: October 3, 2026
The short version. VibeTint is an automotive window tinting shop in Ontario, California. When you book an appointment on vibetint.com, we collect the contact and vehicle details you type in so we can schedule and perform the work. We use advertising tools from Meta and Google to measure whether our ads lead to bookings, and those tools receive information about your visit. We do not sell customer lists. You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you at any time.
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how VibeTint ("VibeTint," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information collected through vibetint.com and its booking pages (the "Site"), and in the course of providing window tinting services at our shop.
It applies to visitors to the Site and to customers who book or receive services. By using the Site, you acknowledge the practices described here.

Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and the third-party tools described in Section 5 automatically collect:
- Device and connection information — IP address, browser type and version, and device type.
- Usage information — the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, and actions such as starting or completing a booking.
- Advertising identifiers — identifiers stored in cookies by Meta and Google, and the click identifiers that an ad adds to the link you followed (for example,
fbclidandutm_source).
Information we do not collect
We do not ask for, and do not want, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, or health information. Please do not send them to us.
3. How we use it
We use personal information to:
- schedule, confirm, reschedule, and perform your appointment;
- send you booking confirmations and reminders by email, and call you to verify or discuss an appointment;
- process deposits and payments;
- keep customer, service, and warranty records, and the accounting records the law requires;
- run our referral program, if you take part in it;
- show the leaderboard of our Heat Line game;
- respond to your questions and requests;
- measure how well our advertising works and show our ads to people likely to be interested;
- prevent abuse of our booking system, such as fake or duplicate appointments;
- comply with the law and protect our rights, our customers, and our staff.
We do not use personal information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only as described below.
Companies that work for us
- Stripe — processes online booking deposits. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are handled under Stripe's privacy policy.
- Our in-store card processor — processes card payments made at the shop.
- Email delivery providers — deliver our confirmation and reminder emails and route email sent to our addresses.
Advertising and analytics partners
- Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) — through the Meta Pixel on the Site and Meta's Conversions API, Meta receives information about your visit and about bookings made on our advertising pages. When you complete a booking on one of those pages, we send Meta the event (for example, "appointment scheduled"), its value, your IP address and browser information, Meta's cookie identifiers, and your email address and phone number in hashed form (converted to a scrambled code before sending). Meta uses this to match the booking to an ad and to measure and improve ad delivery, under Meta's privacy policy.
- Google — through Google Tag Manager and Google Ads tags on the Site, Google receives information about your visit for advertising measurement, under Google's privacy policy.
Other situations
- Legal reasons — when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of VibeTint, our customers, or others.
- Business transfer — if VibeTint is sold or merged, customer records may be transferred to the new owner, who must continue to honor this policy.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not sell, rent, or trade customer lists.
5. Cookies and advertising tools
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies placed by third parties:
- Meta Pixel — sets cookies such as
_fbpand_fbcto recognize your browser and connect your visit to Meta ads. - Google Tag Manager and Google Ads — set cookies used to measure whether a Google ad led to a visit or booking.
Through these tools, Meta and Google may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites, not only ours.
The Site does not use cookies of its own to track you, and booking does not require an account. To know which ad or link brought you, the Site keeps a small note in your browser's local storage for 30 days: the campaign tags of the link you followed (such as utm_source), whether it came from an ad click, the site that referred you and the first page you opened. It stays on your device and is sent to us only with a booking you make. You can remove it by clearing your browser's site data.
Your choices
- Browser settings — you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Booking will still work.
- Meta — manage how Meta uses activity from other websites in your ad preferences and "Off-Facebook activity" settings.
- Google — manage ad personalization at My Ad Center.
- Industry opt-outs — you can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info.
- Book by phone — if you prefer not to use the Site, call us at (909) 668-2310.
6. "Do Not Track" signals
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for how websites should respond, and the Site does not currently change its behavior when it receives one. You can use the choices in Section 5 instead.
7. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, California law may give you the rights below. Whether or not the law requires it of a business our size, we will honor these requests from any customer:
- Know and access — ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
- Correct — ask us to fix information that is wrong.
- Delete — ask us to delete your information. We may keep what we need to complete a transaction, honor a warranty, meet tax and accounting obligations, or defend legal claims.
- Opt out of sharing for advertising — the disclosures to Meta and Google described in Section 4 may be considered "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can limit this using the choices in Section 5, or by booking by phone.
- No retaliation — we will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or treat you differently for exercising these rights.
How to make a request
Email felipe@vibetint.com or call (909) 668-2310. To protect your information, we will confirm your identity by matching the name, email address, and phone number on your booking before acting on a request. You may use an authorized agent; we will ask for proof that you authorized them. We aim to respond within 45 days.
"Shine the Light"
California Civil Code § 1798.83 lets California residents ask businesses about personal information disclosed to third parties for those third parties' direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, contact us using the details in Section 12.
8. How long we keep it
We keep booking and customer records for as long as needed to serve you, honor warranties on work we performed, and meet tax, accounting, and legal requirements. When information is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete it or remove the details that identify you. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, subject to the exceptions in Section 7.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on the Site and restricted, password-protected access to booking records. Card payments are handled by our payment processors and never stored on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our records are stored in the United States.
10. Children
The Site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold about you, we will also notify you by email where we have your address. Changes take effect when posted.
